Mechelen is a small municipality in Belgium, with a population of about 85,000.

Bahamas postmark Nassau
Nassau is the capital city of Bahamas.
It was named in honor of William III of England, Prince of Orange -Nassau...the same king from whom Nassau Street in New York City is named after.
Nassau Street was called the "Street of Stamps" because of numerous stamp dealers who were located there especially during the 1930s.

The municipality of Hamar in Norway had a population of less than 30,000 last year.
Storhamar A must be the post office.

Benin postmark Parakou
The city of Parakou is said to be the most ethnically diverse in the African republic of Benin, although population statistics put the total to just a little over 200,000 some four years ago!
